Dan Craigie
Strategic Development Director
Dan Craigie is the Strategic Development Director for Public Safety GIS Content at GeoComm. In his role, he is responsible for finding, developing, and moving forward strategic partnerships for our Public Safety content offerings. Prior to GeoComm, Dan was the 9-1-1 Program Manager and Deputy Director for the Emergency Communication Networks Division at the Minnesota Department of Public Safety and worked with a variety of stakeholders including State and County partners on all aspects related to 9-1-1. He also has spent time in the classroom working as an Education Assistant in Minneapolis Public Schools for five years.

Matt Hayes
Program Manager
Matt Hayes has over 10 years of experience in public safety and physical security. His background includes physical security program design and implementation, managing a metropolitan real-time crime center, and leading the digital transformation of the security technology program at a multi-national logistics company. In his role as Program Manager, he works with customers to identify opportunities to implement GeoComm’s solutions and enhance the safety and security of their organizations.

Bill McCullough
Vice President & General Manager of Safety and Security
Bill McCullough is the Vice President and General Manager of Safety and Security at GeoComm. He is responsible for leading and directing the safety and security solutions as we build GeoComm School Safety, a solution for keeping students and faculty safe. Bill is a trusted leader in the school safety industry with over 25 years of experience in the public sector with a primary focus on education, working with school districts in all 50 states. In the last 10 years, he has continued to fulfill his passion of keeping children safe, specializing in companies that provide students safety and mental health solutions. Bill has a strong sense of integrity and leads through ever-changing environments by remaining calm in times of stress.

Jody Sayre
Vice President of Public Safety GIS Content
Jody Sayre is one of the most experienced public safety GIS professionals in the country. She has worked at GeoComm for over 25 years and throughout the years has held a variety of roles from beginning as a GIS technician at customer sites collecting data and developing the overall project approach during the procurement phase to today where she offers invaluable insight into GeoComm’s continued vision for its products and services. In addition, Jody works closely with industry vendors to establish both strategic and long-term business relationships and leads a team of dedicated individuals focused on GeoComm’s Safety and Security market.

John Shanks
Business Development Director
John Shanks has been a law enforcement professional for more than 45 years, serving in the USAF and then as a police officer, detective/investigator and academy/firearms instructor. After retiring, he moved from Texas to Washington, D.C. and worked on several law enforcement issues, including working as the Law Enforcement Relations Director at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial. John was instrumental with raising funds to help build the National Law Enforcement Museum in Judiciary Square, in D.C. John joined GeoComm in May 2023 as the Business Development Director for our Public Safety GIS content team working with law enforcement executives, agencies and organizations that are interested in empowering schools with indoor maps to improve school safety.

Ty Thompson
Strategic Account Executive
Tyler Thompson has spent more than 30 years helping federal, state and local government agencies solve complex problems using GIS, as well as data visualization and analytics solutions. Ty entered the public safety industry following 9/11 and has never looked back. As our industry transitions from legacy to NG9-1-1 networks, applications, and advancements in location services, Ty is excited to work with public safety agencies to help them plan, prepare, and realize the benefits that advancements in technology brings.

Larry Warner
Account Executive
Larry Warner joins the GeoComm School Safety team from Texas as an Account Executive. He has assisted public safety professionals for the last five years in finding the best solutions for their technology needs and is excited to apply this knowledge working with school districts to enhance their safety needs. Larry holds a Master’s degree from Texas A&M and a Bachelor’s degree from Baylor University.

Tri-County School Safety Pilot Project
The Tri-County School Safety Pilot Project aimed to create detailed GIS indoor maps of seven pilot schools in the Tri-County area to improve response times to school incidents. The maps were shared with dispatch centers to be used in their 9-1-1 applications.

Concho Valley Council of Governments (CVCOG), Texas Exploring a New Way to Make Schools Safer Using GIS
CVCOG provides emergency communications services for approximately 16,300 square mile region in West Texas, supporting 15 Public Service Answering Points (PSAPs) within the thirteen-county region.
