- Q. I just purchased a book. How long until I receive it?
A. Our books are drop shipped from the publisher. We send all orders to the publisher where they take 1-3 days to process.
Then the book is shipped and will take several more days, depending on the method of shipping you selected. A normal order usually takes 7-10 days.
- Q. I don't want to purchase using my credit card. Is there another way?
A. Small orders (under $500) must be purchased on-line with a credit card using the shopping cart.
- Q. I would like to return a book. Is this possible?
A.Under normal circumstances, we cannot accept returns on books. If we determine that the reason is acceptible, you will be required to ship the item back to us and the book must be in perfect condition. We will not reimburse the original shipping costs.
- Q. I would like to return data purchased from you. What should I do?
A.Keep in mind that we are a CD write service, we are not the developers/producers of the data. Most of the data for sale is also available for free download. It is recommended that you download some data prior to purchase to ensure that you are aware of what you are receiving. We will accept returns on data that has CD write defects or was damaged in shipping, however, due to the sensitive nature of distributing data on CD-ROM and the ease whcih data can be copied, we will not honor returns on data. Please see our corporate policies for more info.
- Q. I seem to be having problems with the shopping cart. Can I phone in my order?
A. You can always phone in your order and supply us with your order. We recommend this (please, never send credit card info via email). Call us at 850-897-1002
- Q. I seem to be having problems with the shopping cart?
A.The GeoCommunity websites require your web browser to be "cookie enabled". In order
for our shopping cart to receive information from you without any errors you must have the "cookies enabled" option set in your web browser.
- Q. Is the shopping cart mechanism Secure?
A.DEFINITELY! The GeoCommunity has gone to great lengths to ensure that we provide a secure method for our customers to complete e-commerce transactions. You will notice when you puchase from us using a credit card, you remain on a secure server the entire time of the transaction. When you are about to complete the transaction you are promted with a message that states when the transaction is complete, you will then be taken back to the unsecure server. Taking this one step further, we do not retain any personal information or credit card information in our database. All records of this information is removed once it is no longer required by us.
