Q11: Can I get some basic pricing information on GeoCommunity Sponsorship?
Corporate sponsors help keep the GIS Data Depot and the GeoCommunity website free to the public. In return for 'sponsorship' you receive banner space on the specific pages that you request for a GIF image and link to YOUR home page. We have a unique mechanism for targeting your intended audience. You may either sponsor particular pages (such as the software page), geographies (such as Florida or California datasets), or data types (such as environmental datasets). Sponsorship is explained more fully in the following web page: GeoCommunity On-line Media Kit Generally, Banner Sponsorship rates are as follows (a CPM equals 1000 impressions): 1-10,000 Impressions: $65.00 CPM 10,001-20,000 Impressions: $60.00 CPM 20,001-30,000 Impressions: $55.00 CPM 30,000+ Impressions: Call for price Discounts are given based upon number of impressions purchased and length of contract. The minimum contract is for three months. All sponsors receive an access login and password that allows them to view impressions and click-thru stats 24 hours a day.
