Custom Data CD's and DVD's

GeoCommunity and the GISDataDepot guarantees that every custom CD-ROM will contain the selected data sets and will match those listed on your emailed invoice. We also guarantee that the ZIP files containing the data sets on each CD-ROM will be free of defects and allow for the uncompression of each data set.

In the event that a data set ZIP file is missing or corrupt and cannot be uncompressed, the GISDataDepot and GeoCommunity will immediately replace the erroneous files via email, FTP, or CD-ROM. This product guarantee is limited to CD-ROM and ZIP file defects and does not apply to individual data sets. The GISDataDepot houses over a million data elements from various sources and has no control over their inherent levels of quality and freedom from defects.

If you should encounter problems with actual data sets, GeoCommunity will work with you to rectify the error, however, cannot make any guarantees about any data sets housed at the GISDataDepot. In the event that a geographic data set is corrupted and unusable, we will make every effort to obtain a clean version from the original source, provide it to you, and update our database.

In the event that the data set error cannot be resolved, the data element will be removed from our data catalog and the GISDataDepot and GeoCommunity will extend you a credit for the value of the data set. We cannot refund any portion of your original custom CD write cost as these costs are incurred at the time of each CD write and are irreversible.
