The GeoSpatial World 2001 conference
GeoSpatial World 2001 is the first annual Intergraph GeoSpatial Users Community international conference for mapping and GIS professionals who want to capitalize on their GIS and its potential. GeoSpatial World provides professional development and productivity training opportunities, a forum for interactive discussion of business and product direction, and a chance to network with other industry professionals.

CBR Environmental Informatics Lab (01.17.01)
The CBR Environmental Informatics Lab will continue to offer their free, 90-minute "Introduction to GIS" Seminars to the Tulane/Xavier community in the Spring 2001 semester. These seminars will repeat every three weeks starting on Wednesday, January 31, alternating between Thursdays and Wednesdays. Seminars begin at 3:00 PM and go to 4:30-5:00 PM, and are held in Room 104 of Alcee Fortier Hall on the uptown Tulane Campus.
